Dell' Ugo Southbank opened it's doors on Thursday September 30th, 2004 with a buzz of activity excitement and some opening night nerves. All went well and many more people happy days and nights will follow.
Giuseppe and Gloria Robertiello had been searching for a second site for more than 12 months, so the they together will Soula Passaris there long and loyal Manager of their New Farm restaurant and also very good friend could cater for the many customers on the other side of river Soula has always wanted to own and mange her own restaurant, and now her dream has also been realized.
Giuseppe and Soula have been working together for some 10 years or more and they decided it was time that Southbank also enjoyed the taste of good authentic Italian cuisine.
You will find some old favorites on the menu of " Dell' Ugo Southbank" but you will also be able to experience the wonderful dishes specially prepared by the team of very professional and experienced chefs from Italy. You will also experienced not only the great food, but the excellent customer service and wonderful atmosphere created for the many customers who visit this elegant yet comfortable restaurant. Some nights you will also meet Soula's husband Michael who enjoys keeping the atmosphere lively.

Soula Passaris is living proof that dreams do come true!

Four years ago, Soula had a dream of owning and operating her own restaurant. In her mind she had it all planned - a lime and chocolate colour scheme, stone walls, a fun, relaxed atmosphere and authentic, flavour some food.
“The South Bank restaurant is essentially the same as the New Farm restaurant, but with a more contemporary feel,” Soula explains. “We feel very much a part of South Bank.” “Once people try these dishes, the next time they come in, they order them for themselves,” Soula says. After only a couple of months, they feel very much a part of South Bank.
